Las Vegas Fixed My Thrill Metered

I thought after Parc Asterix that my thrill meter was broken. But Las Vegas seemed to have fixed it. The Statosphere is the most insane thing ever.

I sat in the front of the Xscream first seat. I seriously freaked out.

The Big Shot is totally orgasmic. That was the word. The funny things is, as a woman was coming off ahead of us, she told us that she chocked on her G-Spot. Highly recommend it.

The Speed at the Sahara is pretty rad. FAST!! We didn't know what the ride was like which added to the thrill factor. All we knew was that it had a loop. So read the explanation at your own risk. Just know that it goes it FAST!!

The Manhattan Express is also a decent ride. A loop, big drops, a cool half twist, and a cork screw.

virtual rollercoasters

How about virtual rollercoasters such as the MaxFlight which is a rollercoaster simulator. The MaxFlight is an enclosed 2-person pod which rotates and spins around in full circles and loops while inside, you watch a screen showing "rollercoaster track". It is a cool idea me thinks, but still, no comparison to the real thing. It opens doors to a lot of possibilities that are not possible in the real thing though.

....but has anyone been on the new buzz lightyear ride at disney land ? for a disney ride, its actually kinda cool. The pace is pretty slow (think haunted mansion, but with space stuff) so its not exactly a thrill ride, but they give you these little laser blasters and you "shoot" at various targets. each time you hit a target, a digital meter tracks your score. its big nerdy fun. anyone else seen this ?
